Rustic 1940's Cozy Mountain Cabin

Sleeps 4
Built as a honeymoon present, Black Mountain Reverie is a tiny piece of Black Mountain’s history. It is a rustic board and batten cabin built by a Florida Man for his Atlanta debutante bride during the last 1930’s. Constructed lovingly stone by stone, this cabin treehouse is surrounded by sunshine-dappled woodland paths. Secluded on two acres, yet only eleven blocks from the center of town and one-quarter mile from the Montreat gate. It is nestled on the hillside of the first of the Seven Sisters’ mountain range, Tomahawk Mountain. Black Mountain Reverie is surrounded by nature and teeming with wildlife (multiple species of birds, tiny chipmunks, gray squirrels, red foxes, black bears, and deer that have lived here in peace and safety for generations with lovely views of Rainbow Mountain.
